The group provides a structured mechanism to facilitate collaborative working, act as a point of contact to discuss clinical issues and provide peer support. It also provides a strategic vision and generate consensus opinion relating to critical care nursing issues and future delivery of critical care linked to local, regional and national strategies.

This forum is a way for clinical leads to liaise and discuss service delivery issues, successes, challenges and opportunities. The group meets monthly

The forum provides a platform for nurse educators to work collaboratively to improve, standardise and deliver high quality critical care education.

The Outreach practitioners is a platform to engage and share best practices in managing acutely deteriorating patients and post-critical care.
